Is it possible to delete objects or groups with a script? Or is it possible to move a object from one group to another?

I read the API and that's the problem: there is no property described, that can do what I asked in my first post. If you look e.g. at the object class, then you can see that it has a getParent property but no setParent property.

At this time it isn't possible to delete objects or move objects from one group to another. You can move groups around.

Can you tell me what you are trying to do?

It was for my "select all " problem, which I described in the new users forum. But with your workaround it is no problem.

P.S.: As I wrote in the other forum, I think it will be a good improvement for future versions, to include a "Select all" feature. Also a multiple selection (with Ctrl key) would be very nice.
