I'll take requests for replacing scripts and plugins that have stopped working or been lost through the years.

First one done...

Foundry for 7.0.2

Hi Paul,

I just tried Foundry (XP Pro) and got the following errors:

Run-time error '11'
Division by zero

I click on OK and then:

440 - Automation error

Localization problem maybe ?

Hi Paul,
Foundry now registering corectly in Vista home Premium 64 bits when using regsrv32 as administrator.
Could you fix piper to register correctly in version 7.0.2 ?

Thanks for Foundry and Piper plugins. Wink

I'll have to write it first Smile

These are not the original plugins.

I'm probably about 30% done - it's much more complex than foundry.

BTW - In case I loose interest or fall under a bus, I send all the source code for my plugins to Richard for safe keeping.

Still "plugging" away at the piper.
Probably about 90% there now.

The last 10% is always the hardest...

Hi Paul! Smile

Don't want to make pressure on you...
It's just I will probably have to rebuild all shapes built using piper with version 6.5.1.

Any news about the piper PlugIn?

Thanks Paul for your good work.

A slight problem with my raid discs last week put all development on hold.

Now fixed, should be working on it again this week.

As a slight aside - I could enhance this plugin to perform rotation about multiple axes and also add offsets to the "pipe" to produce spirals/spring shapes.

Thanks Paul,
It could be interesting and very usefull if this does not remove the original use of piper to draw curves.

Would anyone like to beta test the new piper plugin? (7.0.2+ only at the moment)

The only slight difference from the original is that you need to put in a negative angle and a negative radius to make it bend the other way.

Plus there is a spiral option...

Here it is, the one you've all been waiting for...

Paul,

Have tried the piper in Windows Xp this morning.
Here is what I have noticed:
1- The object disapears when piper is selected in plugins.
2- Unit lenght is appearing even if spiral is not selected.
3- Bend angle degree -45 make the extrusion go backward instead of giving a minus angle.

Will try with Win Vista 64 bits later today.

Thanks.
