I've suddenly started to get the following error message "Unrecoverable error #-2138568448" every time I try and add a primitive to the scene a couple of days ago. Video drivers are all up to date and nothing has changed on my computer so a bit perplexed why I should suddenly get the error message.

Using (well not using!) Canvas 7022 and vista home premium.

Help would be appreciated.

Not sure if this is any help for Richard, but the error seems to be relatic to CAPICOM.DLL, which, not surprisingly for Vista, is to do with security, digital signing and encryption.

The description is:
"The requested operation is not supported in this platform"

To be honest, I have not had that many problems using Vista (though much prefer XP). Though I have noticed more problems since installing canvas 7 (presume coincidence!?).
I have a feeling that, on my setup, the program needs to use the "run as administrator" option to work correctly (or be able to be used with UAC turned off). Think this may be the reason for the trainsim export problem I also have.

I'm tempted to reinstall vista and see if this helps in any way (in other words, I don't have a clue what to do!)
