A material update made (via object properties) in Animation Mode results in an error 5 when returning to Animation Mode.
There is no known work-around for this problem except deleting the object. |

It seems to me that it should not be permitted to do this in Animation Mode, since it is not something that can be animated. Only those things that can be animated should be applyable in animation mode.
