OUT OF MEMORY… No kidding.
SP2 wants to use a lot more of your memory for it’s own purposes. I would not even recommend someone with 512M or less RAM to upgrade to SP2 unless a RAM purchase is in your near future.
As 3DC users, we are not casual PC folks. We need our RAM for our power tools.

the buzz on the net is that MS has put out SP2, which settles some of the security issues plaguing windows since win95. However, the writers of articles caution that some programs may not run properly after the SP2 upgrade.
As 3DC is one of my favorite programs, I worry if it will run properly once the SP2 is on my machine. For those who have windows update set to automatic, you’re likely to get this SP bestowed upon you within the next 2 weeks. I have mine set to manual.
Has anyone downloaded the Serice Pack 2 for XP Home Edition, and does 3DC still function properly after doing so?

I have been using XP SP2 (first the beta then the two release candidates), and have never found a program which would not run with it.
This appears to be a very stable version of XP, 3DC works fine with it.

I have been getting ‘out of memory’ errors ever since installing SP2. I’m going to try reloading 3DC to see if that fixes it.
