Thank you, changing the registry did it:
Back to one screen:
Quick fix,
If you are brave enough to use the register-editor
Go to the key
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareVB and VBA Program Settings3DC 7Application
And find the entry.
XFView00UseAnimationCamera
It is a bit down the list.
Change this value from True to False. (This might be case sensitive, so watch the capital F)

I prefer two side by side view panels. However, I made the mistake of changing the view to one panel so that I could take a screen shot. Now I can not change back to the two side by side panels. (I get a run time error and the program shuts down).
I have had a problem with this in the past and was able to correct it back to two side by side panels, by uninstalling and reinstalling 7.1.2; however this time it doesn’t do the trick.
Does anyone know how I can get back to the view I prefer (two side by side panels)
Note: I tried switching views in 8.2 and there is absolutely no problem with that version at all.

Maybe uninstalling the program, did not remove all registry entries.
Try the solution in [img:4s1w4pne]http://amabilis.com/forumattachments/a/tpc/f/38110693641/m/267104362?r=486107362#486107362[/img:4s1w4pne]
this
post and look also for other animation camera entries, set them all to false.
That should do the trick.
