Can someone help me please.?
Everytime when I push the Material,Component,Object operation or scene hierarchy Panel, it takes a long time before they start.Looks like 3DC has crashed and after a long time it starts.Never had this problem in the past.

I’ve been experiencing similar slowdowns recently on my laptop – I put it down to rubbish intel graphics cards.
Are you using backdrops or multiple viewports?

First thanks for your response.
I have never used backdrops(till now) en don’t know how to create multiple viewports.I am using the solid view.
By the way I am using Windows XP PRO.
I think ,so far, it has maybe to do with the wrong use of the virtual memory by the program(wrong loop).
Other huge 3D programs are working fine on my computer. <!– s:? –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_confused.gif" alt="" title="Confused" /><!– s:? –>

XP SP3?
That was a recent update I did. However I have another, admittedly much faster PC, which does not slow down.
Are you using jpgs as textures anywhere?

I seem to recall something about this. I did something to improve things. I’m not sure what release it was. Perhaps if you try the one available here on the forum it will help: [img:12c4eif6]http://amabilis.com/forumattachments/a/tpc/f/5496093974/m/15410119341[/img:12c4eif6]
3DC 7.1.2.0
Honestly though… I think that was something done quite a while ago.
