Two suggestions: Support for video as texture and backdrop

Hello,
I thought of a moving backdrop option, because creating tricks or effects could be much simplier. Without it you have to think, where in the space you have to place your object, and then to combine it with your live action shot in a video editor. With this option, you could place it preciosly, work with objects directly depending of the video, and export it as one simple file. The difference: the same result with the time rest of maybe hours.
I agree hundred times!!!

I am presently using a 3D program from Ulead called [b:2j9cdk45]Cool 3D Production studio[/b:2j9cdk45], it is very simple to use for [b:2j9cdk45]simple productions[/b:2j9cdk45], however it doesn’t support [b:2j9cdk45]camera or light animation[/b:2j9cdk45] and does not do many of the complex operations of 3DC.

Cool 3D does however have a few neat features: particle templates (fire, rain, snow, lightning, others) among all that it has the ability to use [b:2j9cdk45]motion video[/b:2j9cdk45] as a [b:2j9cdk45]background[/b:2j9cdk45] and an [b:2j9cdk45]object texture[/b:2j9cdk45].

I [b:2j9cdk45]would find video support of this kind a very usefull feature[/b:2j9cdk45] (eg timing movements to a video for an element which cannot otherwise be created, like a sci fi creature landing on someones shoulder or interacting with them).

Having particle templates would be amazing and quick (eg fire, rain, water ripples, lightning, custom eg star field, etc).

Hope you can implement these in the update.

Regards

I agree!

I agree also, why pay thousands of pounds for one item in industrial software release?
