The hierachy is correct as in a tutorial for my model.
The model from Mike Simpson is correct.
I don’t use the wizard. I use the new exporter by Paul Gausden and the naming looks correct.

ok we need to wind back a tad…
So you have a wagon with 4 wheel sets? why do you want wheels that are static and wheels that are animated?
If you named the static wheels as say ‘static wheels’ then they will not have animation unless you add it.
The problem as been solved thanks Ross from NZ
Select ‘Group’ NOT ‘Hierarchy’ then Export the model.
The export was creating two models not me.
Problem solved!
