Since sci-fi seems to be so popoular here, I thought I’d take a crack at it, this is the first try…
I seem to be having problems getting the transparency to show up in snapshots and on the screen when the size is over 320 x 240 (for the andquot;cockpitandquot;…I think I’m just missing something basic, suggestions?

Hi,

Looks cool. I like your alien. 3DC created?

Yah it all is and the alien is fully posable
Actually the alien looks much better out of his ship and I’m thinking of using him in something else.
Also I noted that on different computers the transparency works at larger sizes, so I guess it was just the video card…

Is this mixed transparency where part of an object is translucent and other parts not?

If so do you know which video cards it worked on?

nope, the canopy is it’s own object.
Rage Pro AGP Turbo 2x is the one that the transparency doesn’t work on higher snapshot resolutions. Also appears as splotchy on the screen…except in the small front and side windows at the bottom of the 1-3 view.
Works great all around on a Voodoo3 2k PCI.
Both machines running winME. One is a P2, the first, the other is a P3…

Hmmm. I am guessing that drivers are the difference.

Russell,
I like it. A cool ship, and alien.
