Whoops… it seems I’ve goofed up and provided a non-working version of the normalize groups plug-in. Unfortunately I can’t re-compile and provide a correct one for a bit.
I have to be really careful when I compile under Vista. It seems to pick up wrong paths sometimes, which results in plug-ins being compiled to odd folders. It causes me grief. I have to double-check everything. I missed that with the last release.
7.0.5 is not more than a few days off. I’ll have correct plug-ins then.

I’m just installed 7.0.4.2 and I like what I see so far. However, I’ve reinstalled Paul’s plugins but they’re not showing in the menu as aren’t a couple others. Some of the things I’m not seeing are, Face Split and Swap Textures. The are the most noticeably absent so far. I’m not sure if this is a bug, deletion or omission. Are they just not installing for me or is something else happening here?

You probably missed this in the post for 7.0.4.2… I provided a provisional version of Paul’s plug-ins until he gets a chance to update them. I didn’t have the source to all of them, so I couldn’t provide all of them.

Those 2 were in the set you sent back to me the other day.
Anyway – I’ve put them all together into an installer [img:22qyxhay]http://www31.brinkster.com/decapod[/img:22qyxhay]

Hi Paul,
You deserve a ‘Thank you’ also for all your contribtions to 3DC and the train-sim community in general. You’re having to work fast to keep up with Richard’s updates!

I noticed that the ‘NormalizeGroups’ plugin was missing in 7.0.4.2, but I waited till Paul released his updated plugins. However, it is still missing. I realize the new importer takes care of this problem, but there still may be a need for it at times. Thanks much.

The normalize groups is one of Richards, not mine <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>
I wrote the normalize single group script.
