Snap Shot crashes

I have been trying to use the snap shot utilitly for the
last couple of days, and it crashes out 8 times out of
ten. I have gone as far as reinstalling:

DirectX 8.1
3DC
Video Card Drivers

I have also shut down every program that runs in the
background, changed my display settings from 32bit @
1024 x 768 to 16bit @ 800 x 600.

I don’t know what else to do, can someone please look
into this problem?
