Sluggish Animation – any ideas?

Make sure you have 6.0.0.4 installed (or 5.7a). There was a bug in the early revisions of 6.0 that caused it to be rather slow at animation.

If that doesn’t help make sure you haven’t applied any operations in animation mode.

Also, if you record to video it will always be smooth even if it isn’t smooth when animating in real-time.

I’m having an issue with the frames/second I’m getting on a particular amination… basically it’s REALLY slow and jumpy (gets down to 9 frames/second at its worst).

My animation just has spheres being layered in sets of 9 in three layers (see picture)… why is this so slow, you can’t export it to an AVI file cause it’s SO choppy and sluggish.

All I’m using is the privative sphere so I don’t see why it’s so slow. andnbsp;Any ideas?
