Size properties when resizing just 1 face

If you’re using 3DC 5, you could use the scale tool.

right click on the tool, select andquot;Scale Toandquot;, then enter the xyz.
now select the face and click on the scale button.
(only works well if the face is at right angles to the axes)

How do you resize / reposition a single face or line according to a specified size?

e.g. When you resize an object, you see the xyz properties and lengths changing. This does not seem to occur when you are modifying just one face of an object.

any ideas?
