Saving work with Surface modelling tool.

Or you can right-click on it and choose ‘Open-andgt;Source’.

Hi all. Its dumb question time here. Is there anyway I can save my work when using the Surface Modelling tool and then reload it back into the surface modelling tool to continue the work over more than one session. Up til now I have been completing my work with the surface modelling tool in one session, updating the 3DC scene and then continuing working on it there, but lately the subjects are becoming more complex and taking more time.

You should be able to just click the ‘save’ button on the left of the top toolbar.

I must be missing something then. After I save the model in the surface modelling tool and then try to go back into the surface modelling tool, I can not seem to retrieve it for more work within the surface modelling tool, only for work on the main 3DC scene <!– s:( –><!– s:( –>
I’m probably missing the obvious here as I always seem to look for the complicated answer.

If your model you are working on is in the mian scene, you will have to dubble click it. It sould now be ready to work on again <!– s:) –><!– s:) –>

You may have to wait 2 or 3 seconds, I do

Thanks a million James. I had forgotten that I had to double click on the object in order to reload into the tool again. Many thanks <!– s:) –><!– s:) –>
