Santa Fe Depot built in 1911

Thanks for the kind words guys. Now I’m taking it apart and working on detailing now. Like lighting up the windows. By tiling the texture it is changing the look, I don’t know if that is gong to be good or bad at this point. I want to export something to MSTS to see if I am in the ballpark on scaling. Allot left to learn at this point.

My firt effort. So much to learn so little time. It was a interesting experence and I enjoyed it. Understanding how to export models to MSTS next. Getting a feel for 3DC controls in the workspace was really a callenge. Textures are much harder than I expected them to be. At any rate the Historic Santa Fe Depot was built in 1911 and is used for a City Hall today.<!– s:) –><!– s:) –>

Very nice job for your first attempt. <!– s:) –><!– s:) –>

Textures are never easy unless you have some artistic talent…which most of us don’t.

You seem to have done well with these….just about spot on with the original. Nice work.

Hope it loads into MSTS OK.

First off – very nice job – sir…

And LOL…

Yes – it took me forever to get comfortable with the 3DC Navigation Controls… Red – no – Blue – no – Green… Hehehe…

Once you do get the hang of it – they do work pretty well…

Keep up the good work…

Regards,
Scott

Baltex,
I’ve seen the old Depot building in Santa Fe up close and you’ve done an excellent job of recreating it. Great work!! <!– s:D –><!– s:D –>
