Richard, take a look at this?????

You could try using the andquot;object cleanerandquot; script on it. It may help.

PS Amabilis Support reads each post so there is no need to say andquot;Hey Richardandquot;. Also, you can’t assume that I will always be answering the questions for Amabilis.

I’ve been working long and hard on this steam loco, and
last night and all day today, I’ve been fighting something
strange here. See the pictures below:

In the sim, everything seems to be okay untill I zoom in
to close to the model… Then these strange lines start
to show up, sometimes it even turns my screen a commplete
color….

Is there something wrong with this model that would
cause this? It will eventualy crash the simulator….

Patrick

That looks to be a TrainSim bug or video card driver bug.

Richard

The animation still looks fine, it’s not doing anything odd.
I am now getting the feeling that something has
happened to the model along the way somewhere, and
the model has become coruped….

I hate to start all over on this thing….. andnbsp; andnbsp;;(

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

I had something similar with a steam loco on which I moved the main pivot point after I had set up the animation.

This caused MSTS to move the pistons/rods out at an angle from the loco.

Mike

Okay Amabilis Support….. andnbsp;:)

I’ve tried the camara thing with a few other locomotives,
and it only happens on this one…

Although, something strange did happen about the time
this started. The intro screen for MSTS has stopped
showing up for some reason….. andnbsp;HHhmmm…..
