thanks I used the first gem texture and I added this in a slideshow I made and thanks for telling me about the formats the really helped me with my pictures

This picture link is to your computer – I think you need to upload the picture to a web site and add the link to there…..

I am thinking of adding a 3dc model/gallery to my web site – so if you don’t have a web site I [i:1c7hregb]might[/i:1c7hregb] be able to andquot;hostandquot; it for you (if you want ?)

You can post pictures here in the forums by using the andquot;Attachandquot; feature below. Save the file to .jpg or .gif format and keep the filesize to 80kb or below, then it should post just fine.

I think you are right – although it is strange that a lot of these pictures are now gone, are the pictures deleted after a time period or is it just the authors removing them ?

I will not proceed with the above idea .. unless others think it is worth continuing ?

I believe you can post any of your model pics in this forum(model feedback). Just below the andquot;Attachandquot; feature you will see the allowed file types and size. I would suggest either 320X240, or 512X384.

Quite often I have looked for some picture here and found just broken links. I thought it would be a good idea to do a semi-permanant site where one could have a andquot;portfolioandquot; of work – anyone else think so ? (free)

I will go ahead and set up a demo for you to look at – and if people think it is a good idea then we can go from there…..

I don’t know how to post multiple pics to the forums, but if it can be done, Richard could tell you how.

Also, I’m not sure what you mean when you say you don’t have the .jpg format so, you might want to check out andquot;IrfanViewandquot; at zdnet.com/downloads. It’s a picture viewer Plus. It will convert images to and from many different formats, display them for viewing, and best of all it’s Free..

Starting your own portfolio of pictures on the web is always a good idea I think. It allows millions of people the cance to view your work, and if you also have pictures posted in the Gallery at the Amabilis website, then that gives you two different areas of exposure.
