Problem with transparency

Hi,
I am having a problem when I export to Trainz. on viewing in 3dc all is good, when I export to Trainz I look thru the model and there is no right inside. When I flip the model and look thru to the Left it works fine. I have tried replacing the image and the component with no success. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jason

This is not a problem with the model, it is the TRS graphics engine.

The alpha channel on your TGA file has some grey pixels somewhere.

Are there any translucent parts on your model?

If not make sure the alpha is either solid (255) or transparent (0)

Hi Paul,
You were right, I changed the alpha to Black and it worked I could see the other side. My next question is if I cant use a grey shade in the alpha to obscure the glass, whats the best way to get a glass effect?. The grey works ok on the front window still.
Jason.

Try making the window glass as a separate object with it’s own translucent texture.

When you apply the texture in 3DC, try making the translucency value 1 or 2 – this will signal to the export program to try and sort it so it renders correctly.
