Problem with trainsim export 7.1.2

Deleted 3d libraries and cleaned up train simulator and it installed OK. Thanks a lot.

Despite the load message, 3dc seems to work fine now without account control ON, which saves a lot of hazzle

I had this problem back 6 months ago but it has reoccured and I cannot remember how to fix – that is the files .s .ref etc created by the Wizard do not appear and cannot be accessed under Explorer but do show when viewed with ShapeViewer.

Anybody out there with wisdom and a good memory could help me out?

OK I think my problem is something to do with the 3dc uninstall which will not work. If I uninstall using Vista then reinstall same problem. Something must still be in the registry – would that be it?

There are only 2 places in the registry where 3DC stores info:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareVB and VBA Program Settings3DC 7

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREAmabilis

You’ll need to re-register your licence if you delete these.
When you uninstall, make sure you delete the program filesz3DC 7 folder too.
