Thanks KB.
Piles of corn. In the UK we don’t have piles of anything, except passengers waiting for trains that never arrive. <!– s:) –><!– s:) –>
Thanks Les,
Remember, if you ever get time to try out Blitz and Gile, send me a PM.

To get 24 hour operation I obviously needed Port Daniel by moonlight.
This is the first test render. Still a bit of work to do on the textures but I’m quite pleased with the result so far.

Nice, that’s quite pretty. So is sunlight soap a real brand or did you make that up?

Thanks everyone.
It took me six hours to set up the lights, (all 38 of them!!) and then an agonizing 2 hour wait for the render to complete. The extra lights certainly increased the rendering time by quite a bit.
Yes Elizabeth, Sunlight Soap was a real brand. I like to use these ads where I can instead of using to many windows. They help to break things up quite nicely.

bazza, thats beautiful! I worked for the RR for a short period of time and what I remember from walking the tracks was piles of corn [which you didn’t want to step in] but I don’t think could be reproduced so people would know what it is.
Very nice lighting!

bazza,
Excellent work!!! I too think the lighting effects are especially great, but the overall scene is awesome. Keep it up… <!– s:D –><!– s:D –>
