point and edge color

I don’t think you can do this but it would be a good idea.

Is there a module, script or plug in to give the user the ability to choose point and edge color? I sometimes have a little difficulty seing the color scheme.

(I do understand points and edges reflect material an texture colors, but wonder if there is a way to set them to a static color )
