I,ve just downloaded Pauls MSTS Plug-in pack and unzipped to the 3DC plugins folder but they don’t show up in the plugins menu.What am I doing wrong? Do they only work with the MSTS wizard?

Paul has produced plug-ins for different versions of 3DC. Which versions did you download ?
That may be the answer as to why they may not be showing in the Plug-Ins drop down box. He also converted some often used plug-ins into object operations as well for the later versions of 3DC, but I can’t think which ones they were at the moment.

Well I’ve tried just about everything I can think of but still can’t get the Plug-Ins to show in either the optins or tools/plug-Ins. Anybody else had this problem?

I would completely uninstall 3DC and Upgrade, delete the ‘Amabilis’ folder, re-download 3DC and re-install.
Also, be absolutely certain you install the 6.5 MSTS pack.

Thanks Richard I’ll give it a try. When you say INSTALL the MSTS pack is this just a copy and paste to the plugins folder or is there an actual installation procedure?

Hi Bazza,
Yes – ‘install’ for plugins means just copy them into the plugins folder.
You just need the 3DC main file and PRO upgrade installed first.

Did you also clear your registry of 3DC references before re-installing ? I’ve found in the past that this can help in fixing install problems.

Just a thought …. if you look in the Tools/Options menu, do the plugins appear there? and do they have ticks next to them ?

The 3DC Registry Key is found at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/VB and VBA Program Settings/3DC
You can delete this Key before re-installing 3DC. The registry entry will be re-created next install and use of the various ops. <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt="
