I am getting some odd things with Materials and also the Unwrap functions.
In the material window I am getting this Green/red/Blue gizmo thing appearing. Only way I can get it cleared is to change libraries and then come back. After a while it reappears.

A simple 4 sided box and use autounwrap, I only get 3 sides and what maybe the outline of the forth side

I haven’t managed to reproduce the problem with the texture library. Any ideas on how I might reproduce it?
I can’t reproduce the problem with the unwrap either. Is there any chance you can send me a copy of the model? (<!– e –>support2@amabilis.com<!– e –>)

the texture library one seems to just happen at random, I shall try and reproduce the problem.
The unwrap, well theres no model as such, I was getting the feel for the unwrap. and the model was just a simple 4 sided box, no top or bottom. Nothing flash, no extra polys etc… So I shall keep trying.

The Unwrap issue is "just one of those things". It’s actually entirely out of my control, as best as I can tell. This is a feature of Windows, and I (and everyone else) has to take it as it is, unfortunately.
A hint for auto-unwrap: It works best with solid shapes, where every edge meets one and only one other edge.
If you come across a way to reproduce the texture library issue, I can definitely do something about that.

ok, I got that odd material Library thing again yesterday, Completely different model and a complete reinstall of 3DC 9.1.1
I just can’t see what action brings it up. It is not there at the start of work and if one changes from one library to another and then changes back, its gone.
While it is showing the library seems effectively locked.

I’ll keep thinking on this one. So, far I’ve had no luck.

The odd thing with the texture library just happened to me. Now, if I can only figure out what exactly I did? <!– s:D –><!– s:D –>

yes its a odd thing. It locks the library until you swap out and swap back to that library. It does not seem to matter how many textures yu have nor the actuall sizes. Its a moving Gizmo.

I’m going to move this to the "outstanding issues" section. I can’t reproduce the issue with the texture library right now. I’m going to have to watch for it to occur, and what causes it.
I noticed that this occured after I selected the first texture of the second line of a texture library, but that’s all. That may not be significant.
