No alpha layer export

I’ve been using 3DC for years, now 3DCrafter. Generally, I’ve had no problems with them until Vista/Windows 7 came along. I recently bought a new system with win7 Pro/64bit. All my programs loaded correctly including 3DCanvas, my editor of choice.

Models and related textures for MSTS objects were exporting just fine. Suddenly the export stopped creating ACE files with alpha masks.

I reinstalled 3DCrafter to see if the ACE exporter would work….no it didn’t.

If during the install I was suppose to direct the exporter to MSTS utilites, I may have missed it or given it the wrong location.

If that’s the case, how do I check or change that location?

Sorry I didn’t get back sooner…
Try running REGEDIT and look under the following nodes for the info:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Amabilis

I’ll try and check my copy of 3DC when I get home.
