Thank you guys, for your comments.
Bazza: Yes, I really want to leave 12H.3DC and 12H1.3DC availables for downloads, but I don’t want to exceed the upload capacity for each model. Anyway, I can send you both files if you send me your e-mail address by private message.
Paul: Regarding to pipes and handrails, they almost drove me crazy. And it came because the second shape didn’t show at MSTS. Once I discovered it worked, I didn’t make any additional improvement.
You already sent me the Steam Eng Calculator, but when I introduced all parameters that the loco has, it didn’t move in MSTS. I don’t know nothing, about steam mechanims. I only like to model. So I maintain the original .eng from TSW, and let the users to change what they want.
It is almost finished my new model. With some pipes and handrails, it will bw ready next weekend.
It is built under pure shapes. Four transparencies will be located for windows, and that’s all.

RiverPlate
It looks BIG and BEAUTIFUL. <!– s:D –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!– s:D –>
Nice work.
Bazza
Looks very impressive. How many polys is it now?
Are there any South American routes for MSTS available anywhere? (I am assuming this model is destined for MSTS)
Thank You!.
The loco is built (as up now) with 15.000 polys and the tender almost 6.000
There are two routes: Buenos Aires-Mar del Plata and the other is Buenos Aires-Mercedes, but they are under construction, yet. The buider think they would finish them, next month. I’ll send you an advice when ready.

RiverPlate
Ra+-l – a very solid looking model <!– s8-) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="" title="Cool" /><!– s8-) –>
Is it another Beyer-Peacock?
If you release it soon you will be the first person to have used the fully modelled wheels option in the Engineer plugin.
Thanks!
It has been constructed in Argentina in 1937, but frame, coupled wheels, axles, boxes cylinders, motion and coupling, rods manufactured by Vulcan Foundry (so I dedicated to him, as promised).
Correct. It has been built using you Engineer plugin V7, using fully modelled wheels.
Regards,
Raul
Raul..That is absolutely beautiful.
A really lovely engine indeed. Its easy to see that is comes from Vulcan Foundry as the H class here in Tasmania, although much bigger is very similar in design.
I’m guessing it was used in passenger service and is superheated ? <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>
Thanks Brentton.
Yes, superheated, and for passenger services, but it is no so big. May be the perspective of SViewer. The loco is 10.59 metres long, and the tender 7.5m. And, of course, it is a Vulcan Foundry. So, because of this, I dedicated it to you.

Great, Let us know when it’s finished. Can’t wait to add this one to my collection <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>
Friends:
the model is now available for downloads at [img:1h4a6luw]http://www.amabilis.com/mediadownloads.htm#3DCModels[/img:1h4a6luw]
<!– m –><a class="postlink" href="http://www.amabilis.com/mediadownloads.htm#3DCModels">http://www.amabilis.com/mediadownloads.htm#3DCModels</a><!– m –>
.
The .eng file is something that can’t control yet, so it is the result of TS Wizard plugin and I’ve already changed very few parameters like smoke and lights.
I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks,
Raul Palmieri
Hi Raul,
Great looking model.
Can I suggest you also upload it to [img:12pvu6le]http://www.uktrainsim.com[/img:12pvu6le]
<!– m –><a class="postlink" href="http://www.uktrainsim.com">http://www.uktrainsim.com</a><!– m –>
as they are trying to expand their collection of models for all the countries of the world.

Any chance of getting the 3DC version as well.
I’d like to see what it looks like after Gile has worked it’s magic!
Bazza
Hola Ra+-l,
Lovely model – just goes to show what can be achieved with 3DC
The only minor comments I have are that the front buffers could do with a bit of noise on the texture, they look a bit flat.
Also your pipes and handrails could do with a bit less creasing to make them look more rounded.
14000 polys total for the loco and it still performs well in MSTS.
Have you tried the Steam ENG file Calculator? (from UKtrainsim) – Did I send it to you?
You need MS Excel to run it, but it generates most of the parameters for you to give a more realistic performance.
