New beta nVidia 27.10 drivers

Buggered if I can get it working with any drivers.
Really hacked off.

As you know I had been having problems running 3DC with a Geforce II MX 200 card under WindowsXP and had to revert to the nVidia 15.70 drivers to get it to run.

Yesterday, I downloaded a beta set of nVidia 27.10 drivers from [img:qcpze0v6]http://www.guru3d.com[/img:qcpze0v6]

and have been able to run 3DC using these drivers, so far without problem.

Using a 3D benchmark program, these drivers gave me a 25% increase in FPS over my previous setup.

However as a warning to others, these are beta, uncertified drivers. On the other hand if they work, then good luck.

The NVIDIA 27.00 and 27.10 drivers are beta drivers. 3DC 5.04 now works. I think that users should wait for the offical NVIDIA 27.10 or later drivers because the beta driver doesn’t have the Setup program and I had a problem installing the driver this morning. The offical NVIDIA drivers have Setup programs. Jeffrey.

Obviously nVidia fixes this AFTER i get my machine set up as a dual-boot!!
[sigh] Oh well…
