I call it the Black Manta. It took me about three days to do itm, and I still have to get a glass-like cockpit canopy that works for me, and the engine glow(thrust).
Tell me what you honestly think of it, as I may be using in a game Im trying to create.

Hi,

The part that I got looked really cool! I only got about 65% of the picture though.

This should tell you what you need to know about posting a picture: [img:1fbswxp9]http://www.amabilis.com/discus/board-formatting.html[/img:1fbswxp9]

Richard,
Thanks for the info, again.
Let’s try this andnbsp;

Richard,
I’m not having any luck at all trying to send mail to either of your addresses. The error message for both addresses says the address is unknown. Is it possible for me to upload the model to your site? The file size is still 7,344kb after compressing and zipping.

Hi,

WOW! That’s huge. What is it when it isn’t compressed? Note that if you open a compressed file and re-save it will be de-compressed by the process.

If it won’t go any smaller than that, the best choice for you is to export it to DirectX format and then Zip it. It will likely be smaller in DirectX format.

I am anxious to get a copy (preferable in 3DC format if possible), but I don’t really have anyplace for you to send it except my email address. I’ll let you know what I hear back about why your emails failed.

Richard,
Uncompressed the file is like 34,xxxkb. I’ll try to find a way to make it smaller.
Thanks for the help, Les

So compression helped, but not enough. How big was the compressed file before you zipped it? Just curious as to how much difference it made.

Probably the thing to do is try saving in DirectX format. It could well be smaller.

Richard
