Hello All,
It’s been a while since I’ve posted, so forgive me if I pop out of nowhere with an obscure question….
I thought until recently that it was not possible to have MSTS lights appear behind alpha (translucent) polys. However, it seems this can be done with gmax.
Here is a more complete description of the issue, from the train-sim.com forums:

I would be curious if any of you (Richard, Paul, …?) know how this effect can be achieved with 3DC, or by messing with the shape file. I tried, but didn’t get too far… it would be great for a project I have in the works.
Thanks for any help! <!– s:D –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!– s:D –>
