Knife Tool for selective edge subdivision

A knife tool would be a very welcome addition in being able to selectively place points and edges exactly where you want them instead of dividing an edge and then sliding the point or manually entering its co-ordinates. <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>
