Importing 3ds Orientation problem

I have done that tried that. Orienting imports seems to be a problem. How about a step by step brief tutorial for 3D Studio imports

The importing for 3D Studio items must have a step by step instruction as it should be consistent with any 3D Studio import.

Changing the orientation must have been in a help screen that I missed.

I can get a good import from a 3D Studio MSTS Streetcar but the X Y Z are not in the direction that I want for MSTS. It points straight into the ground nose first. How do you correct it?

Hi George,

Try the Swap YZ option in the Import options window, you may also need to check the invert option.
