The andquot;Explodeandquot; operation in 3DC separates a model/object along existing edges, and then moves the individual pieces outward in all directions.
Would it be possible with scripting to have the object separated into a controllable number of pieces, but with uneven separation points/lines, in order to give the impression that the object has been broken, or ripped apart like in an airplane crash? Also, could each piece then be designated as an individual object so that you could move/place/position/rotate/etc for a more realistic andquot;crash siteandquot; look?
Something like this could go a long way toward helping gamers create ground crashes.
