I would recommend visiting jandscreations.com and checking out all the tutorials for many different programs…I have added a brand new forum that looks promising…I am in the process of adding a new page to the site called ‘3dc rider’ this will be a tribute to 3DC and promote the product. 3dc rider will have a pdf section that will contain many tutorials and articles about 3DC….thanks, pirate

this is great news to hear that my site has helped you out…i have worked very hard on it and i am still adding to it…i just added 2 new pages to it…blitzing and darkness…blitzing is for blitz3d users and darkness is for darkbasic pro users…both pages are still under construction but are coming along pretty good…thanks

I don’t have that in 3DC v 7.1.1.2 Is it a custom function from somewhere, or has that feature been dropped/relocated/renamed in the latest version?

it shows that i have version 7.1.1.2
it should be the 7th tool on the top row…
if it is not there then click on tools at the top of the program…
then click on options…then click on operations…scroll down the list and make sure the plug in called double side is checked…

if it is not there then click tools/plugins/and see if double side is listed…you can use it straight from the plugins…if you dont have the plugin then go to the amabilis site and download the plugins…hope this helps….
oh yea i almost forgot…we are doing a community project in the forums on my site…we have an xna studio rpg project and a blitz3d fps project going now…there is a darkbasic pro fps project starting soon…i have been making all the models by myself in 3DC…sure could use some help…if you use 3DC you are a friend of mine…just go to my site then to the forums and check it out…

Double side is one of my extra operations and plugins (<!– m –><a class="postlink" href="http://www31.brinkster.com/decapod">http://www31.brinkster.com/decapod</a>&lt;!– m –>)

To do it by hand
Select the face(s)
Copy
Paste back to the original object
Invert the new object
Set the new object position to 0,0,0
Combine with the original object

(The double side operation is quicker)

i was trying to figure that out for bursar…i was getting pretty close….paul, i just thought i would let you know that every time i try to visit your brinkster.com site the bandwidth is exceeded…it says try again after midnight…when i try back i get the same result….just thought you should know….

your site is never there when i try it i guess i give up on seeing your tutorial
if i was you i would host the site yourself and use a dns host service to send traffic to your server because your site is never there….
