Yes, that’d be very good. <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>
I was looking over a problem about a robot hand model (it was a problem with a model korben made) that was destroyed by 3dc somehow. I think, for the sake of being able to make really good high poly models, as needed on many occasions, that this should be fixed for version 7 if possible.
just a though <!– s;) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!– s;) –>
To be honest, I don’t think there is anything that can be fixed.
3DC can support around 32000 points/faces per object. As long as you don’t merge your objects ‘parts’ this will rarely be a problem.

How about a dialogue box or other warning that pops up when such an operation occurs that would produce such a predicament?
I think such feedback would go a long way to help. If we understand the limitations, I’m sure us creative people can figure out workarounds to get what we want <!– s;) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!– s;) –>
My 2 cents
I agree. A dialogue box would be handy.
