Heh, look what Pipe Builder can do too…

Don’t sell yourself short, Deanville. Piper is very useful for a lot of things, and Foundry saves a lot of work as well.

That’s a nice model! I have a thing for walking draglines…they just look too cute stumping around in slo-mo.

This is kind of neat…I wasn’t expecting Paul’s Pipe Builder plugin to actually do this, but it makes great fold lines on the rendered instruction models.

Sometimes even my ‘Piper’ plugin has to take a back seat to Paul’s ‘Pipe Builder’ <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>

Here’s a shot of a dragline, the boom and support were built by scaling cubes, dividing them and adding edges in all the right places, then applying Pipe Builder. Saved me a lot of work!
