Guide for On-Screen Icons

Agreed. andnbsp;I have printed the tutorials. andnbsp;Problems develop as we go along. andnbsp;I am in my first week of the program so I know I am at the bottom of andnbsp;a andnbsp;very steep learning curve. andnbsp; That makes it fun andquot;most of the timeandquot;. andnbsp;thanks for your thoughts.

Jon, I think you will find the extrude tool very useful for your train models. Apart from extruding model shapes, I needed to make a vacuum pipe for a loco and did not know how to make a curved hose.

Richard pointed me in the direction of the extrude tool, just make four points in the top right screen and a circle forms around them, then draw the path for the shape of the hose in the bottom left screen, and lo and behold when you exit the extrude tool, you have a curved hose with your model which you can then resize to fit the size you need.

Every time I have not known how to do something, or claimed it could not be done, Richard has shown me how. This is the reason I think this is by far the best program for train modelling, not the program itself (which is great), but the person behind it and the service you get. I have paid hundreds of dollars for programs in the past, and never had any service.
