grid snap in 2d views

yeah but it would be cool to have so you can model precise angles that you want.

like in autocad how you can turn on grids of points and adjust the width and height of them

and using a polar snap to tell you if your perpendicular to the face or parallel to the face would be nice

but the biggest and best idea is to have
3d dimensioning tools that when you create a face and grab a point you can pull it up and it tells you the angle of the inclined surface <!– s:D –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!– s:D –>

So the ‘3d dimensioning tool’ would give you an angle to be used, for example, in a polar snap operation.

Though this is interesting, I don’t feel this would a top priority among the many suggestions made in the suggestions forum.
