Thanks. I just applied the decals to small groups of faces, then made the adjustments with the UVMapping operation. This could be most any kind of helmet with a few mods… <!– s:D –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!– s:D –>

Very good ( as usual!! ) I like it. Cant wait to see the project. I really need to get a paint program. I have so many projects swimming around and really need to get going on at least one..its been awhile… Keep up the great work and looking forward to seeing a finished project!

I think you should put a pivot on the visor so it can open – at the moment it looks like it is just floating in front of the helmet.

blaydrnnnr, Thanks guy. The finished project will be on of my old favorite fighters, but with some modifications and new textures(nothing fancy).

Alan, I think you are right about the pivot point. I’ll add that in the final shots. Thanks.

It may be a little while before the final shots of this project get posted, but hopefully not too long.

Well I couldn’t resist posting this version of the flight helmet. I modified the visor portion to make it look like its actually attached to the helmet, and modified the helmet slightly.

Thanks guy. Actually it has changed again in the visor area. The visor is now wider and covers more of the facial area. I’ll post that pic later.

It certainly is a nice bit of work Les. How did you do the decals? Was it a complete unwrap? Of course it wouldn’t take much to change it to a bikers helmet, then all you would need is the biker and a bike!
