As some of you know, I’ve had some problems keeping 3DC running on my machine because of a crappy integrated graphics system.

This scene is a complete chess set started when the competition required a chess scene. I only had the King done then.

This scene is a complete chess set, unrendered, using 3DC’s generic camera and materials and settings from 3DC. The pieces were created using the lathe tool and extrude tool, except the board, which is a cube.

I’ll do a render cause I’d like to see some shadows cast by the pieces.

A great deal of thanks and credit goes out to Bazza who’s constantly encouraged me not to give up on 3DC.
