Extrude as Region

You can see the difference when you extrude multiple (adjoining) faces.

I am not clear about what the ‘Extrude as Region’ option does. andnbsp; I experimented with extruding a surface with and without the option and am not able to see the difference. andnbsp;The help file indicates that the faces will remain ‘connected’ but again I am not sure what it means. andnbsp; Thanks for your help with this.
