Error when dragging bone into the scene(awaiting user input)

Each time I try to drag a bone into the scene, I receive ‘runtime error 0’.

I’m pretty sure I have this fixed. Certainly I’m not having the problem.

Anyone else?

I’m having the same problem, no idea how to fix it, and have an assignment due in 8 days (3d animation assignment). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I keep getting runtime error 0. Running Windows 7 64 bit, all drivers and service packs up to date. Had a lot of crashes, right now I’m trying to get bones into a fish i’ve made for an assignment, and every time i try to put down a second bone, i get the error, and the programs stops responding. I have 8 days to finish this assignment, and I can get bones in, really need to animate it. Is there any other way to get fins, mouth, tail to animate/move without bones? Need to get this sorted asap. Bought the pro version last night thinking that the extra features might be helpful, I’m sure they would be, if the program would stop crashing.

I believe I spoke to you via email about this already. I’m having problems with this also. I’ll do some investigating, and the model might help (<!– e –>support2@amabilis.com<!– e –>)

What language is your computer using? An odd possibility, but perhaps. Sometimes the symbol used for a decimal separator causes problems.

I know that many people do NOT use bones. It’d be really helpful to me if someone who doesn’t use them tried dropping one on an empty scene to see if it produces an error 0 or not.

Just dragged a bone into a new scene.

No crash, or error 0

Win7 64 bits, language Dutch.

Dragged all three bone type into an empty scene with no problems.
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit SP1

Could someone without Windows 7 give it a try? Thanks.

I tried this on my second machine, Win XP Home servicepack 3

No errors

Thanks Gerrit.

Ok, so it seems it is rare, or relatively rare.

It would be really helpful if someone could try this:

1) drop a few primitives on to a scene
2) drop a bone or two

As many people/systems as possible would be really helpful. Thanks.

There is a runtime error 0 when I trun the grid off.
Dragging a bone in the scene results in runtime error 0
In both Win 7 and Win XP
