I tried the new version with the same results. Also, the two diagnostic files you mentioned in the email were not present on my system.
I ran a diagnostic program called dependency walker (the 32 bit version) and did a profile. The errors I get are still centered around Msvbvm60.dll. I can upload the dependency walker profile if you wish.

I’m thinking on this one. If I recall right, you downloaded and installed the latest Msvbvm60.dll. Is that correct?

I’m running a brand new installation of Win7/ 32 and have the same error despite trying all the suggestions above.

Hey,
I’m new, and I tried to install the program (version 9.1.1), and this error popped up. Could someone PLEASE find a way to fix this? I’m really looking forward to using this program, mainly because It’s the only one that I could find.

Unfortunately, this problem is really hard to track down, but I am making progress on it.

I am also one of the unfortunate ones with xp64 bit that cannot start your program with 9.1.1 and the registry fix. I emailed ya and I am willing to help.
I guess the only other option to importing into Railworks is this and Max, correct?

I just purchased a 64 bit computer. Hopefully the installer created by it will work better for people with 64 bit Windows. I hope to have an updated installer by the end of the month.

It seems that I have reproduced this. But, despite that I don’t have a solution yet.

So, it seems to be about getting the right files in WindowsSystem32 and WindowsSysWOW64 folders. It’s not clear to me yet why files need to go where they go.

That was easy. So, the answer is that the the 32 bit files go in SysWOW64, and the 64 bit files go in System32. Just as one would expect. <!– s;) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!– s;) –>
I don’t think this answers anything though. The installer should have put them in the right folders. But I’ll confirm that tomorrow. It should be quick to get a new installer out. Probably tomorrow.

I’m sure you already know, but this error still exists with 3DC 9.2 beta 2.
