I doubt that re-installing XP will help. It’s almost certainly an issue with drivers that just happens to come up with this particular build of 3DC. It can be as simple as the order of execution that causes a driver to fail.
Can you switch to a wireframe grid? Or does that cause crashing also?
No, the program freezes as soon as I cancel the introduction ‘tip’.
But the freeware version of Crafter 9 installs and loads correctly. (My license was purchased in 2009 so I cannot try the pro version. I will wait to see if it is worth upgrading to Crafter 9 pro).
