Copying Animations

Two scripts for 7.1.2 …

Anim-Export – Click on an animated group (or object in it) and it will export a text file with the animation parameters.

Anim-Import – Click on a non-animated group, select the text file. It will then recreate the animation exactly.

This was my solution to the sorting of key frames but it should work in this case too.

Be careful as the position animation is also retained – you might need to move the group afterwards and reset the position animation.

Hi All,
I am trying to copy an animation from one object clone to another. I save the animation of the first object as a sequence file. I then save the object in the object library. Now the help files say that I should be able to drag that object back out of the library and it will remember its animation but it doesn’t. I look in the sequence library for my animation and there is nothing there for the object I have just dragged out. I’m using 7.1.2
Can anyone help.
Thanks
Darren.
