I am able to import parts into my SCENE and import them into my component library and I’m able to create new items to add to my component library, but my ability to load parts (3do) files from a directory of parts is "grayed out".
IE; Click (folder icon)to add a shape to the library is never available, on old or newly created libraries.
In version 8 and later, you can only add shapes selected in the scene. I’m not sure how it worked with older versions.
You could… and this was nice… select the folder on the right, get a file dialog box and add to the library from a file and not have it added to the scene. For me there isn’t a reason to use the component tool window to add from the scene as this is a right click option.
