Nice scene Paul_K. <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –> The textures make it realistic, Though can take awhile to make/create, and turns your work into a greater piece.

What could be nicer on a Sunday afternoon…..

It looks like you’ve knocked one over already. <!– s;) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!– s;) –>

The textures look authentic and the reflections in the tray really make the scene come to life. Well done, although the tray maybe too clean perhaps ?

Add a few spilt peanuts, crisps and a some greasy finger marks to make it really authentic. Not a criticism at all, just a suggestion to add to an already great scene.

What properties did you give the tray to get the nice reflections ? <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>

nessaguin…nessaguin… (as the old advert went <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –> )

I like the tin and texture (esp. the free bit)

Not too sure the about glass though, needs a bulge ?

The whole thing took no time to make (obviously). The tray, glass and basic can shape took about 5 minutes each altogether. I used 3DC’s built in textures (via ‘raytracing material attributes’ button) for the tray, glass and top of can.

Most of the time was spent on the ringpull, the hole in the can then quite a while trying to get the can texture in the right place.

I sometimes look at the other free or cheap modeling programs on the market but I reckon 3DC is about the best, it is so easy to use and full of clever features.
