Basic model (parts ?)

Be warned. I ’bout got punched out for thinking such blaphemous thoughts. andnbsp;;)

I decided to suffer though the tutorials and keep everything to myself, since that’s pretty much what I was directed to do.

I was very surprised to learn that this is andquot;just not doneandquot;. andnbsp;:'(

Been thinking (sometimes happens)

Anyone think it would be a good idea to have a collection of basic models here ? Things that could be used in other scenes ? Where we could send in bits that we have been playing around with as part of a learning curve ?

I understand that people would not want to make all of their
work available, me included (in my case because most of it is rubbish <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –> ). I was thinking along the lines of things we try while learning – a vase, clock, etc just odds and sods that others might find interesting……..

The only problem I can see with this is it would require some
extra work from Richard to see what he likes and then to add it to the site – after all the guy never seems to sleep now and I don’t want to add to his work load !

Hi Guys,
Several people, including myself, have submitted simple models and Richard has made them available for download. There’s nothing wrong with submitting your models for others to tinker around with, if you don’t plan to use the model for a special purpose.

Some people, however, are understandably very protective of their work, and don’t want others tinkering with, or using them in any way.

Check out the models page at Amabilis website, you’ll find a few there.
