Hi All,
This scene I put together to show some of my models, in a more realistic looking scene.
This is Altura Station(Altura Star System) with two Titan Class Carriers docked, a light shuttle craft, a group of Eagle Class Fighters on patrol, and a Manta Class Fighter returning from a training mission.
These particular Carriers are so huge that they take up two docking ports each at the station. Each Carrier can house 1500 fighters as well as 12 support ships(not built yet).
Let me know what you think.

Hmm.. for some reason, the ships don’t seem very well antialiased into the scene? The background shot is great. You might also want to turn down (or off) the ambient light to make it look more like space. Also, with the fighters in the corner, you might want to try putting them at different distances from the camera; they can still be in a formation, but just a more realistic looking one, with the lighting falling differently on them.

Gary,
Thanks for the ideas. I’m going to add some more ships to this scene as soon as I can get to it. I’ll try out your suggestions.
