Al’s back to basics – part 2

Thanks for the offer – but I still have not found a copy of the file (my andquot;backup systemandquot; is not too hot* andnbsp;:-[ )

If I ever find a copy I can use my own space – it is just a case of finding a copy of the file….

Thanks again.

(the right arrow takes you to the next bit – the left one back to the last bit (no wait – the left arrow is faulty…I will try to fix asap….))

Alan,
andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; These tutorials are great. <!– s:) –><!– s:) –> I am just starting with 3DC and plan to make authentic looking buildings for my route in MSTS so these two tutorials fit my learning requirements.
Maybe you could find time to tell us all how to build a building to the andquot;real worldandquot; size for exporting into MSTS.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge of 3DC.
Bill.

Thanks for the feedback – I wll be doing some more of these andquot;back to basicsandquot; soon….not sure what about yet ….

I have never even seen msts andnbsp;( :-X ) so I can’t help with the real world size bit though (but I am sure someone will help out here ?)

Gee Alan,
I have never even tried the andquot; triangulationandquot; operation. It was one of the problems i had with the truck i was working on in the models post. I am actually starting to understand why these things happen and MAYBE how to fix it. ( i tried to clip out points and edges with terrible results. ) I am going to try it out right now. thanks and again… great work

I’ve changed my isp… I will try to set up some new webspace andnbsp;:-[

I can’t see this one any more <!– s:P –><!– s:P –> but I can see the first one ???

How big is it. I genuinely found these usefull. Although a bit annoying to wait for each part. andnbsp; If its not too big I could set aside some space.
