Yes, I think I will do some more but like Alan says I need to do a bit more work with my figure modelling.
These screenshots are all from Gile, I wanted to try out the toon shading option in Gile but found it makes low poly figures look to blocky. So it’s time to hone my auto smoothing skills, which to say the least, are very basic at the moment.
Now that I’ve got 6.6 working I’m going to give the toon shading with 3DC a try also.

gmani..Dan…had so much fun playing with 3D and truly appreciated the support from the staff and members here. (and yes, everyone’s patience with his off-the-wall humor ~grin~)
It pains me to have to tell you this, but he died on October 10th. He tried to say his goodbyes, but he had so many online friends (and interests) that he kind of left it up to me to finish his farewells. (He had also hoped I would learn the graphics programs–ouch. Perhaps when I have the time I’ll pop in and ask for your help…I hate to see a neat ‘paid’ program go to waste [img:1lnbua73]http://noahspark.ipbhost.com/html/emoticons/blush.gif[/img:1lnbua73]
The day before he died, he put this together to say goodbye…and didn’t have time to fix the arms. Typical. And precious.
